How to Open Explorer.exe


Windows Explorer is a clean, coherent organizational system that eases that burden. Windows Explorer lets you view the contents of your hard drive and any attached devices using an expanded navigation tree that lists subfolders underneath folders, folders underneath drives and so on. There are several different ways to open Windows Explorer.
Instructions
Task Manager
1 Press the "Crtl," "Shift" and "Esc" keys at the same time. Windows Task Manager appears on the screen.

2 Select "File" in the Menu toolbar.

3 Click "New Task (Run...)".

4 Type "explorer.exe" in the field to the right of Open in the "Create New Task" program window.

5 Click "OK." The Windows Explorer interface opens.

Start Button
1 Right-click the "Start" icon on the Windows taskbar.

2 Click "Explore."

3 Browse your hard drive in the Windows Explorer interface that opens.

Computer
1 Click the "Start" icon on the Windows taskbar, then click "Computer" on the right side of the Start menu.

2 Double-click your primary hard drive beneath Hard Disk Drives. Typically, the is the "C" drive.

3 Double-click the "WINDOWS" folder.

4 Scroll down until you find the "Explorer" file. Double-click the file to open the Windows Explorer interface.

Accessories
1 Click the "Start" icon to open the Start menu.

2 Click "All Programs" in the lower-left corner of the Start menu.

3 Click "Accessories."

4 Click "Windows Explorer" to open the Windows Explorer interface.
